Home Invasion, Robbery on Wednesday Feb 20 UPDATE: SUSPECT CAPTURED
Shortly after midnight last night, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office responded to an intruder call at 11174 I-30, Benton, AR. Upon arrival Deputies made contact with the victims. They stated they woke up to an unknown black male inside their residence. He confronted them and demanded items and money. After getting several items the suspect he had the items placed into the victim’s vehicle. The suspect then fled the area in the victim’s vehicle.
Information was obtained about a potential suspect, and the victims positively identified him from a photo line-up.
An arrest warrant has been issued and it is believed the suspect is currently in Texas. Texas Law Enforcement Agencies and U.S. Marshal Service have been notified and are currently looking for the suspect.

Lt. Scottie Courtney of the Saline County Sheriff's Office says the suspect, Derek Dione Wilkerson has been taken into custody in Dallas, TX by U.S. Marshal's task force from that area.
