For the life of me I cannot understand why Ricky Tripp, The Undertaker aka Rick Meyer (thank you Linda Ives) and The Shadow continue to TRY to make all of us believe that they have some sort of “inside connection” with the County Clerk’s office. Continually they post that their “intel” tells them, or “a leak” tells them, or “the numbers show”, etc….that the candidates that “they support” are well ahead of their opponents. Are they telling us that there is someone in the County Clerk’s office willing to risk their jobs to “leak” this information to these guys??? I don’t think anybody in this office feels that these guys are important enough to risk that even if results could be told to them at this point, do you?
The only numbers that they have are the same ones that any of us can view on salinecounty.org under County Clerk, “Early Voting Totals” which are posted for all to view daily. They have no “secret”, “privileged”, “just for their ears only”, knowledge of WHO is ahead in the election process right now. As a matter of fact, the voting ballots aren’t even taken out of the voting machines until after the voting process is OVER, which will be on May 22nd when the votes are ready for tabulation (with a phone call this information was provided by the County Clerk’s office).
Just Stop It!!! We are not dumb enough to believe your nonsense!

I'm seeing this for the first time. That's just how important it is. Posted May 15, 208 views, four comments and mine. PFFFFTTTTTTT.......

Comment by A.B. on May 16, 2012 at 5:39pm You can tell if your next door neighbor voted, but you can't tell who he voted for. Thanks for pointing out this out to people who should already know that no one knows for sure how the voting is going. I don't know about how absentee votes are handled, but voting machines don't tell...or shouldn't:-) But as Joe commented, this is the South so who knows?
There may be information available through exit polls or through phone polls, but how reliable are these polls? I wonder how just many people will really tell some stranger at the other end of the line how they really voted:-)
Comment by Peter Glenn on May 15, 2012 at 5:16pm I'm laughing so hard my gut is hurting. They have done so many things to so many people like Judge Phillips and others in the party that they don't have any pull. Glad you called their hands on it. They're just blowing gas out.
Comment by Joe on May 15, 2012 at 4:29pm Come on Annabelle, I thought it was common knowledge that in the South if you were “in the know” you could take your family bible to a secret polling site and vote for all your past relatives listed within its pages. Also on a good day your pets can vote too, can you say LANDSLIDE.
