LEARN ABOUT THE RICH TEXT TOOLBAR

You can make the text you put in text boxes on your Ning Network bold, italicized or underlined, as well as add a hyperlink, insert an image or embed a video.

To insert a link, highlight the text you want to be linked and click the "Insert a Link" icon, which looks like chain links in the toolbar.  In the box that pops up type the URL you want the text to link to. Once you save your post, anyone can use the link.

You can insert an image to your post by clicking the "Add an Image" button, which looks like a framed picture, in the toolbar. A window will appear prompting you to select a photo from your computer to upload. Once you've found the image you want, click the "Add" button. 

To embed a video, just copy the HTML embed code and paste it into your blog post. When you publish your post, anyone will be able to see the video.

Finally, you can upload a file by clicking the white page icon. Anyone will be able to download the file by clicking it.

Or maybe you do, but most members on this site don't - but for some folks, that's what you picked to show on your profile. I don't know what caused you to pick it. But..

Change it by going to Settings (link at top right), and then scrolling down to pick your country. Then at the bottom, click Save.

Say it already.

Indicate the topic in the title of your post concisely, then give the important details in the post. Ex: "Need a marriage license." or "Found dog."

Don't make your title ambiguous. Ex: "I Can't Believe It!" or "They did it again."

Please remember all the poor souls with only dialup. [moment of silence] They want to know what it is before they click on it.

Format your posts!

It's so much more interesting to get some bold, italicized, underlined or strikeout text. Maybe you could put in a link, photo

or file too!

Post it, Don't re-post it.

Post news, events and whatever else. Don't wait for the admin or one of the regulars to post it. You're just as important to MySaline.com as anyone else.

However...
Unless you're like Shelli, and you see nearly every post that happens here, look through the Latest Activity (in the right column) and do a preliminary search (in the top right corner) before you post. It could be that we already covered the topic. At length.
