A police report has painted Mr. Ward to be a fraudlent and dishonest man Ms. Ives. He deliberately, drove around in his vehicle WITHOUT insurance, then threatened a police officer because that officer was doing his job and then tried to get his insurance agent to commit fraud by backdating a insurance policy.  What a disgrace, and this is the man you want running your county? Mr. Ward should not even be considered to run in the election. He should NEVER be allowed to take the oath of a police officer in the first place. Lets not be hypocritical.

I also do not know Richard Scott.  But what I do know from a police report is tha het got drunk, punched his x-wife in the eye because she would not enter a wet t-shirt contest and was arrested for 3rd degree domestic battery.  The x-wife later dropped charges which is not unusual.  I also know from documents posted on my blog that Scott was fired from England PD for indecent behavior with another employee which was caught on tape.  Do I think he should get the electric chair for this -- of course not.  But I do not believe he should be a police officer.  His conduct violates the very oath of office he swore to uphold.  I also feel that it is an insult to the the good men in women who do serve with honor.

In my humble opinion, it is this very attitude of  "oh I know him and he really is a good ole boy" attitude that has made Saline County famous for its dirty politics.
