You are invited to the unveiling of the Tribute Hummer for Deborah Getz, mother of fallen Army Ranger, Kristofer Thomas. The event will be at Landers Hummer TONIGHT, December 21, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. This Gold Star mom commissioned airbrush artist, Robert Powell to create a tribute to the soldiers killed on February 17, 2007 when their Chinook helicopter crashed.
Thomas graduated high school early and entered the military at age 17 and began an Army Ranger at only 18 years of age. His goal was to make a difference in the lives of others.
Landers is hosting the event at their annual "Hummer Happening". The Army National Guard will be there to assist in the presentation of the airbrushed Hummer. Along with the Getz family, food, entertainment and plenty of new Hummer's to view.
