I hope everybody has fun! I will be working :/
We always took the kids to the one in the community we lived before. Big-ta-do, really big! Couldn't fit another kid on the bank. My daddy took my niece this weekend to the fishing derby where they live. Soooo many priceless memories to be made!

Comment by A.B. on June 10, 2012 at 8:15am How nice of the members of the police force to take the time to work with the community on a fun event like this:-) Kudos to all of who are participating!
I had a blast helping with it last year. My shift Lt. has taken the lead again this year and is trying to make it better than last year by adding Sr. adults to the fishing group. I will not be able to be there this year; however I know for a fact the kids will have a good time. Brenda I hope you will be able to make it with your grandson.
Comment by Brenda Rhodes on June 8, 2012 at 10:59pm Brenda...Sunset lake is located on Fairfield. If you know where Holland Chaple is located from South Street, stay on theservice road heading west. You will pass the fairgrounds and Fairfield will be on your left. Turn onto Fairfield and go all the way down till it curves to the right. You will drive down to the pedestrian bridge and you will see everyone, you will have a blast. We will have prizes and such for the youngsters. We added a Sr. Adult division this year, Lt. Kassel has done a great job at getting everything organized.
