Pennington Retired???
Mr. Pennington needs just one more term to get a full retirement from the citizens of Saline County. What has he done to earn a continued paycheck on the backs of the taxpayer?
- Burglaries have not been investigated (all reports taken over the phone)
- Drug arrests are down 68%
- Bruglary rate is 50% higher than the national average
- Internet predator arrests are down 95%
- Jail remains out of control and ranks #1 in death and abuse cases
- Has pending class action lawsuit for requiring inmates to pay a warrant fee even after he was warned to stop by not only an attorney but by an attorney generals opinion
- No new deputies in 20 years have been added and he has done nothing to come up with a solution to change this aspect (43,000 new residents in same time period and sheriff budget is 6 times higher during same time period) ***Where is the money going?***
- No new technology has been added with the exception to kiosks being added to the jail pods for inmates to send emails out (WOW)
- Several new dodge chargers have been destroyed under his watch
- The reserve program has become a spot for political appointees (List of reserves will be at bottom)
- Illegally appointed three quorum court members to the reserve program
- Lost the 309 program after they were caught drinking and having sex in the visitation room
- Jail continues to fail inspection regarding trianing that is required by law
- Purchased three luxury SUV's (Tahoes) on the backs of taxpayers (1 was given by us marshal service)
- Discontinued work with Marshal Service after they got the new Tahoe
- Nearly 1 Million in payout due to lawsuits due to lack of training in jail
- Left the East End Substation unused for nearly two years (until re-election this year)
- Specail treatment of David Pierce (54 Counts of contact with young boys)
- Lied to the public regarding 1.6 million he claims he turned back
- Claims his drug arrests are down 68% because he has put them all in prison
- Lied to his own party and used them to get elected them stabbed them in the back
- Has a long history of not telling the truth (see state police record and compare to today)
- Failed to call ambulance for an inmate then tried to cover it up
- Has said that he doesn't care about the very public who elected him when they complain (see video released by Mrs. Ives)
- Has failed to offer any new programs that are inovative or technological
* Political appointments to the reserve program by the Sheriff include; Dennis Milligan, Mark Kizer, Alan Dabbs, Tom Lish, Rick Meyer, Patrick Rhodes...seems like I am missing someone here.
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR ME LATELY? NO MORE MONEY FROM US TAXPAYERS SIR...IT ALL ENDS THIS TUESDAY MAY 22ND IN THE REPUBLICAN PRIMARY.

Also the TRUSTEE who escaped was under the supervision of the city road crew division. They had hi. out working with the road department just FYI. He didn't escape from jail or a deputy but from our city roads department who allows trustees to work for them.

Also the new medical program, the jail passed an inspection. a week or so ago. AR times researched 62 County jails in AR and Saline wasn't among the top 15. You can pull that article up.

Here are your tax dollars at work...these luxury SUV's can all be found at the local golf course on a weekly basis as these photos show. YES...this is during normal working hours folks. As a matter of fact the day the inmate escaped custody last week your great Sheriff was on the golf course all day that day. He was MIA (missing in action). He and the CID (Criminal Investigators) all go together to play. The CID are the ones that should be investigating burglaries and drugs.
