I look out my window and what do I see? A 4-wheeler slinging snow o'er the curb at me. I reached for my Sony and pulled back the sash, He revved up his engine and was gone in a flash. Patiently I waited, lens aimed twixt the blinds, On digital media I captured him and if nobody minds. I'll post it to MySaline and Facebook and such, Outside of that who cares all that much.

Did anyone catch the Courier today? I read about how someone sent a letter to Hot Springs Village and claimed to be Ms. Samples. Milligan denys knowing about it, ( Plausable Deniability im sure).

Do you think it will reflect badly on Milligans campaign?

What do you think the person was thinking by sending this type of letter out? (you could clearly tell a person whose campaigning would not send something of this nature)

I read that also - not surprised.

Milligan calls her campaign negative, but I recall that over a month ago his campaign created a fake website in her name filled with numerous misleading statements.  They went as far as to put flyers on parked cars directing people to that negativity.  Seeing Mrs. Sample's concise and matter-of-fact statement seemed to reflect her straightforward style.  On the other hand, Milligan's statement was just another multi-paragraph drivel in the very same fashion of his buddies on this site.

Luckymom, I don't think Ms. Sample sent the letter out either.  I can't imagine her chosing to stoop so low as to write this garbage and especially to sign her name to it.  I also don't think Mr. Milligan would have done it because it stirs up more controversy knowing it might backfire and people would blame him.  I would think the last thing he would want to do and I believe he has also volunteered to take a lie detector test.  In fact, if I'm not wrong, there were just a couple of candidates who the letter may not potentially affect in a negative way?

Whoever did sent the letter is probably sitting back enjoying all this and I hope that the writer is exposed quickly and that some time of punishment or karma crawls in that deep hole after them and bites them in the butt.

Luckymom is also correct in how quickly the Courier jumped on this story and got in the in the paper on the front page no less:-(

No wonder more qualified people don't choose to run for office when dirt and inuendos are thrown at them.

I've really tried to stay out of this mess this year for several reasons, but enough is enough.  Mr. Undertaker, No way, repeat No way, did Myka write or send that letter out.  She is a classy lady and would not have.

I lean toward someone that makes a big deal out of Democrat vs. Republican being the writer or maybe someone with connections to the Benton Courier.  They sure were fast in getting this one in the paper.  Also, I haven't seen some of the "big guns" posting lately and there was that threat of something big coming up, (I was actually hoping they crawled back into the hole they came from but wasn't that lucky.), so maybe it was one of them.

All I know for certain is it wasn't Myka Bono Sample.....

I just finished reading the article AND the letter sent out by someone posing as Mrs. Sample that is in the Benton Courier and it makes me sick to think that someone can sink to that level.  My gosh, unbelievable.  I don't blame Mrs. Sample one bit for fighting back on this blatent attempt to tarnish her reputation and I hope that the investigation will turn up WHOMEVER did this.  I just THOUGHT the photo shopping of her signs on here was bad but this is beyond anything I've seen yet.

Once again, the Undertaker is trying to put his spin and opinions into this horrible ordeal.  Has anyone considered that it's real???  Answer...not even the one that wrote this letter thinks it's real because it's filled with the deceit and hatefulness that this person(s) is filled with.

Milligan is quoted in the Courier, in his typical, blame the other person self, suggesting that Mrs. Sample put this letter out there herself  BUT,  before he starts bashing her, he is quoted saying that she denies sending it out and HE TAKES HER AT HER WORD!  Really??? Which is it?

The article turned into a "Vote for Dennis Milligan Campaign" article.  Disgraceful!

Truth, I am disappointed as well in the Courier's coverage considering they wouldn't even post the results of the Straw Poll which was held awhile back on the lawn of the court house in downtown Benton, but jumped on this story (which I understand occurred in Hot Springs Village).  I am also very disappointed in the negativity and dirty politics of this year's election:-(

I'm very disappointed in the Courier's coverage of this. They gave three times the space to Mr. Milligan than they did Ms. Sample, basically giving him a bully pulpit for another campaign speech. Instead of asking for responses, then printing them verbatim, maybe they should try "reporting" instead of being a printing service for candidates.

The comedian is back. Hes probably the one that sent the letter. Mr. Undertaker is known for his secret letters to people. Problem is hes full of hot air.

The exit polls I have seen say that Ward, and Samples are ahead by 75%. No one is voting for the incumbents. Our phone survey also shows the same numbers. No doubt that the newbees are going to be celebrating next week. Hope Milligan gets a new fax machine at his house soon....no more on the county dime.

Cooper, you really need to click on my face and name and go to my blogs on Ward, and get your butt informed.  You don't know how it creeps me out to read anybody sayin' that they "don't know who they're voting for" in this race.  If a three-legged dog blind in one eye with worms coming out his butt were running against Ward, I'd vote for the dog.

As for this letter, I ain't seen it but I hear tell there's something else out there too that may be gettin' ready to pop.  This stuff ain't over yet.  From what I did hear about it, it was pretty hard core stuff and believable too.  Need more details to make a decision on it.  But Milligan ain't got a reason to put something like this out there for the s#!+ storm it's brewing up.  He's winning the race.  Why mess with things on this level?

Did anybody consider the idea that it just might be real?  I'm just sayin'.  Has anybody out there seen the thing who can tell us anything about it?
