Received a letter in the mail about Dennis Milligan

My name is Allen House,  I moved to the Bryant area about a year ago. I am not much into politics but a few days ago this letter came in the mail concerning a politician running for  re   election, Dennis Milligan.

I have scanned the letter and attached it below.

I just got a recorded call from Ann Clemmer telling all the reasons to vote for Dennis Milligan, none of which had to do with the clerk's office.  Just his work in the party.  Looks like Milligan's pulling out all the stops.  The ONLY thing I'll be changing my mind about is that I'll not be voting for Ann Clemmer next time around.  Both Myka Sample and Dennis Milligan are Republicans.  Sample wants to be a working clerk, he wants to work the clerk's office so he can climb the political ladder.  So tired of tihs scratch my back attitude in this county.

The stunt makes the clerks office look like it is ran by a childish bully.

Duck Bill:

I appreciate your concern, but civil rights lawyers in this State have endured far more than I.  I honestly believe Ms. Sample is the best choice.  Bruce Pennington has known me since I was a child, but I sue him, if I think it's necessary.  I support Bruce because I know him, and he knows me.  Neither of us is perfect, but I know Bruce will do his best to what he thinks is right.  Did he file as a Democrat? Sure.  Is he now a Republican?  Sure.  But I vote for the person- not a party.  Does anyone really believe Milligan is running that office?

hah, this letter has generated 101,000 views and counting and gaining credibility every day.   The lawsuits are real.  The wasteful spending have been admitted to.  Milligan went on Channel 7 and admitted he was faxing information about his horses on taxpayer time using taxpayer equipment.

The letter spells trouble in Milligans office.   Outside what is in this letter and what myself and several others have confirmed.

Look, at least Mr. Tripp posts under his real name.  Mr. Tripp was represented by Steven Smith at his deposition in Mattingly.  Mr. Smith is Milligtan's attorney.  Mr. Tripp knows the ropes. I have zero personal problems with Mr. Tripp.  I disagree with much of what he says, but I suspicion that he would disagree with me.   But, everyone must remember that it is Milligan that sued Ms. McDaniel, over a fax confirmation.  Even if he was wrong on the Mattingly lawsuit, Mr. Tripp recognizes what Mr. Milligan's complaint is.  Ms. McDaniel's counterclaim is simply that he sued her for an improper purpose and that Milligan has misused County money.  If he has misused County money, that money will be repaid to the County.  The lawsuit is not solely about this horse racing business.

When someone is beaten by the law enforcement, when a doctor misdiagnoses a patient, when a lawyer fails in his obligations to his client, when a police officer is fired for flying a Dixie flag, when a woman is asked for sex in exchange for a job, or when someone is fired simply because they were sick, I will be there to try to help.  Some day, I will make another mistake.  I will be held accountable.  But I hope my son will be better than I, although one could argue that, given the posts on here, the bar has been set fairly low.

Much to my consternation, my son Jacob has joined this forum.  But he's almost 16 and off to study the Constitution this summer, and I have told him about how important people's views are.  BTW, Mr. Tripp, Jacob grinned at the Gloria Allred comment, since I have been, and always be, a libertarian.  But he was almost beyond hysterical, when somebody called me a part of a tribe or some such.  Although the "whining" part angered him a bit. he realized it was an anonymous post.  I think it would have bothered him more, had such came from Mr. Tripp.  I would warn Jacob that what he posts on here will be in some form from here on out.  Regardless, somewhere there is justice, and His Will will be done.  Not Shadow, not Undertaker, Mr. Tripp, or mine.  I supported this website early on, and I was glad to see Ms. Russell's attempts at moderation.  The line between moderation and censorship is sometimes fuzzy.  This is not a game.  There is no vendetta.  But people have rights, including Mr. Milligan.  The issue presented by Mr. Milligan's lawsuit is whether he owns a fax confirmation printed on county paper using county ink.  The issue presented in Ms. McDaniel's lawsuit is whether Milligan's lawsuit was brought for an improper purpose and whether he has misused county funds.  It is not an employment lawsuit yet.  Mr. Milligan is to be respected for his success. But I don't have to approve of his actions.  Saline County, keep him in office, if you will.  Hopefully, he has learned something.

"goofy phony, letter" filled with information that the public should know regarding this important county office.  I'm sure if you actually had business to attend to there you would feel differently.  I hope this stays on the radar for everyone to see.

There needs to be some amendments to that letter.  It needs to be added that Mr. Milligan created (or had someone create) domains in the name of his opponent and in the name of a local attorney he does not favor.  He is an embarrassment to the county for his tacky, classless and unscrupulous behavior.  That further begs the question, why did he hire Steven Smith to represent him in the McDaniel case?  Why did he hire David Fuqua in the DePriest & Mattingly cases?  Does Mr. Milligan have a relationship with ANY Saline County attorney to hire local counsel?

With all the crap posted on here, seems everyone has forgotten that this thread was started to try and sell a "letter" full of half-truths, exaggerations and lies.  Don't mind me, I have no problem with it.  Carry on with the crap.  Works fine for me.  I'd rather this goofy, phony letter dropped off of everyone's radar anyhow.

Nice try, children, nice try.  Very funny.  Also very false.  You had hoped that image was painted for the public, but to no avail.  Mr. Milligan has not been managing horses out of his office, nor has he been running book.  Also, he hasn't been doing anything illegal or unethical.

Care to try again?  I know, I know.  Frustrating, isn't it?  The more you think you win, the more you lose.  Try better arguments with real evidence when you go after someone in the future.
