There's a time portal on Reynolds Road

Had a minute between elementary school and art school today, so I decided I'd go back in time. I had never been to Village Antiques on Reynolds Road in old town Bryant - and they're only open Thu-Sat until 430pm, so now was the time to strike. Plus it was on the way to the Saline County Arts Project, where I was headed next.

Which restaurant for seafood in Saline County?

I know of a few that serve seafood, but rather than do what I know, I wanted to get some ideas from others.

If you have a special favorite outside of Saline, go ahead and lay that on me too. But please don't just throw a name out there.

I wanna know why you suggest the restaurant(s). And let me be clear: Do not say "Red Lobster."

Are you telling me Bauxite Schools don't do Benchmark tests?

I don't know, because a) my child goes to Bryant Schools and b) I caught wind of this on Facebook from a very funny local comedian. Laura Ratliff's post made me laugh like Ricky Ricardo, but since I haven't heard back from her in the 90 seconds between my comment on her post and my typing this on MySaline, I'll just…

Saline County Flash Mob

I love hearing about flash mobs. If you don't know what these are, it's where groups of people coreespond via internet and/or text and plan to show up at a particular time & place to do a particular thing - everybody all at once.

I think it's an excellent way to send a message, help a business or just be silly and delight onlookers. I've seen ImprovEverywhere do some fantastic things over the years, and I've daydreamed about harnessing the power of all us MySaliners to have a… Continue
