Benton & Bryant Restaurants Tested for Serving to Minors: 8 Pass, 3 Fail
Officers with the Benton Special Investigation Unit, which is comprised of officers from the Benton and Bryant Police Departments, recently conducted another undercover compliance check of restaurants that serve alcohol in Benton and Bryant. The Kid and the Front Seat
Yes, I know you and I rode in the front seat before we could walk, but some laws or ordinances or restrictions or regulations or stipulations or standards or something have been enacted or ordinated or what the heck ever since then.
I have an 8.63-year-old and she still sits in the back seat. She's average height - at least for folks in my family - about 4.5 feet tall. I don't know what the law or the limit is on putting them…

Why do you keep coming back just to hate on everyone?
I'm getting pretty tired of trying to feed dogs that bite me. Here I am trying to stick up for the anonymous bloggers and I'm getting a barrage of folks who want to violate the site policy and then cry censorship or First Amendment.
Say whatever you want, but if it exists only to start a fight, you gotta leave. These are the same rules in my house. You don't have to leave just because I disagree with you. But you will be escorted out if you are rude, belligerent, argumentative etc.…

Saline County now has public court records online
Saline County has become the ninth county in Arkansas to put access to public court records on the Internet, Saline County Circuit Clerk Dennis Milligan announced.
“The days of people driving to the court house to look up or copy court records are vanishing. With the high price of gasoline, accessing records on the Internet just makes good sense,” Milligan said.

Lawsuit Filing Fees Going Down; Bond Paid Off
Saline County Circuit Clerk Dennis Milligan announced that the cost of filing a lawsuit in the county will be reduced starting Monday, March 6.
The cost of filing a civil lawsuit, domestic relations case, appeal, or foreign judgment will be rolled back from $195 to $165. The fee for reopening a case will be reduced from $70 to $50, Milligan said.
"This reduction in fees will affect a lot of people. In 2011, there were almost 1,000 civil cases…

Gas Leak in Bryant Friday
Residents are urged to stay out of the area around Rich Street and Vine Street in Bryant, as there is a gas leak. Workers are there now attempting to contain it.
