21-Year Veteran of Saline County Sheriff’s Office Scott Courtney Retires

After 21 years, 5 sheriffs and thousands of arrests, Lieutenant Scottie Courtney will retire from the Saline County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) today. At 1700 hours, Lt. Courtney will say, “602 Central, I am 10-7” for the last time.

Kids at Boys & Girls Club Give Touching Tribute of Thanks to Police Officers

Verdict: Former Benton Police Officer Hodge Found Not Guilty in Rape & Sexual Assault Charges

Monte Hodge has been in court this week, charged with rape and having lost his job over a year ago as a Benton Police Officer. Court sessions were scheduled to happen all week, but testimony ended Wednesday, the jury deliberated and found Hodge "Not Guilty."

New Officer Authorized to Ticket Residents for Illegal Dumps

Christmas Eve Bust in Benton Nets Two Local Men Felony Drug Charges
