Connectivity Goal Leads Bryant to Begin Looking at Right-of-Way on Echo Lake Blvd Property

The Bryant City Council passed a resolution Tuesday night, directing Mayor Jill Dabbs to begin identifying, negotiating and acquiring right-of-way offers, connecting Echo Lake Blvd from Interstate 30 to the south side of Bryant. Bryant City Council Meeting Canceled Due to a Record 5 Aldermen Absent

According to Bryant City Clerk Heather McKim, Thursday night's City Council meeting was so sparsely attended that it had to be canceled. McKim stated that those present were Rob Roedel, Mike Chandler and Steve Gladden. This means that five alderman (a.k.a. city councilmen) were not present. McKim said this has not happened before in a regular meeting during the administration of Mayor Jill Dabbs.
