I am such a slug. I did absolutley NOTHING productive all day. If I were a real slug I would pour salt on my head and scream in a tiny little high-pitched slug voice as I melt: "Help, Help, not the salt!!!!"

Boredom is really hitting me. And this is what I've come to realize:

I'm going to hell, and it's definitely going to be in the proverbial handbasket. I have heard people mistakenly call it a ham basket. I try not to laugh in front of them, but sometimes it slips out. As I'm sitting here not doing much work at all, I'm contemplating just how many of you all are doing the same. Then I realized that there is so much traffic here now that it is very likely that you have a boss or co-worker who might be on at the same time. I don't think we have any need to hide our identies from each other. But what if there's a mole or moles on here just ready to turn us in for goofing off at work? For those interested, the bid opening for the contract to reconstruct Chris Drive, Edgehill and Watson Place will be tomorrow morning (January 23) at 11:00am in The Mayor's Conference Room in City Hall. This project includes reconstruction of drainage and is estimated at $1,400,000.

I watched a video on abcnews.com of Bill Clinton in New Hampshire scouring Senator Obama. President Clinton makes several points and comments but one of those is the fact that now comes Obama running for President of the USA after ONLY serving in the Illinois state senate and now one term in the US senate.
