Benton City Council to vote on Animal Ordinances 6/24/13
The animal welfare ,committee of the city council of Benton, met last Tuesday to discuss the animal ordinance that will come up for a vote at the next city council meeting.
The meeting was productive and went well and did not waste time. A few concerned citizens attended along with the 5 member committee and the director of the Animal Control. I saw on the news where officials out in Colorado Springs have issued a voluntary evacuation order for parts of the city. That horrible wildfire continues to spread. So people are grabbing their valuables and loading up and getting out of town. The officials say one vehicle per family to keep the roads from getting jammed.
