If You Were Looking for the Legislative Audit of the Sheriff's Office...

I've posted the pages of the legislative audit done of the Saline County Sheriff's Office. The audit was requested by the Saline County Quorum Court (Justices of the Peace) to the Saline County Prosecuting Attorney, who then recused himself, referring the audit to Faulkner County Prosecuting Attorney Cody Hiland. This audit was requested during a short period of time when it was unclear whether then-Sheriff Bruce Pennington would leave office of his own accord…

April 15 is tomorrow! Are your taxes finished?

Millions of Americans wait until the last minute to file their tax returns. This year is no different. Filers have until 12 midnight on Tuesday, April 15 to drop off their completed returns. The Postal Service will not be adding any additional window hours or collection times.

This news source is different from other news sources.

This news source is different from other news sources.

How many times have you asked the newspaper, radio or TV station a question and they answer you or dig deeper to find your answer for you? I think we all like having the option of typing out a question and finding out something if it can be found. And it is being done by someone who truly cares about her home and county. I sure would hate to see MYSALINE.COM disappear from existence. A couple of dollars a month isn't going to make…

Arkansas Attorney Hopes Constitutional Amendment Will Help Whole State Go Wet

Not just one county, not a joint-county effort, a statewide change in Arkansas' constitution is what attorney David Couch hopes to accomplish. As Gwen Moritz writes in the Arkansas Business:

"He did the math and realized that it would be easier and cheaper to collect the 78,000 signatures needed to get an amendment to the state Constitution on the November general election ballot — just 10 percent of voters in the last gubernatorial election — than to collect 38 percent of registered… Continue

My dear Bubba!

This is my brother's birthday.  He is John Franklin Harris VI.  He is one of the kindest, sweetest, noblest, most generous humans on planet earth.  He's by far one of my best friends.  A better human being is hard to find.

Gotta love that hair, huh?  He could rock the head fuzz back in the day.  He loved it when I used to joke with him the time he lost his headphones.  I told him to cut his hair and he would probably find them.  He is a loving sort that loves his sister's…

What's Up With KARN Newsradio

As I listened to KARN Newsradio, I noticed the other day that Kevin Miller who normally did the morning traffic covered what Bob Steel and Andy Pearson did on First News from 5:30 am til 9 am. After Rush Limbaugh, a comedy writer and syndicated host named Rob Carson covered Dave Elswick's old time slot. Of course THE GREAT ONE as he's known as Mark Levin is still on as well as Savage Nation. I'm glad that Singles and Exes didn't get…
