This is a playback of a tribute I wrote for my Dad some years ago (1988). Our Pastor, Bob Marble, included it in his Fathers' Day message today at Mabelvale United Methodist Church. Bob asked me to assist in its presentation.

Lest someone get the wrong idea, reefer is a trucking term meaning refrigerated trailer. So now look at your fridge (reefer) and ask yourself can you pass by it without some raggedy scrap of paper catching your sleeve? Can you open and close the door without having to hold back the various pieces of magnetically attached graffiti before it will close properly? If you have kids, grandkids, and for the trifecta, great grandkids, then you understand the concept.
