A little mystery: the Saline County Seal
I was browsing the Saline County web site and learned that about ten years ago, Garry Smith found an old Saline County Seal. County Officials are still in search of what year the seal was made in and what it was used for. They do have a document dated January 12th, 1863 that has been stamped with this Circuit Court Seal, but would be interested in other documents.

Library Schedule
One of our members lamented the lack of activities for kids around here. I am posting the library schedule:

On 6/11, there is a Teen Movie Marathon at the Benton Library. There is also a used book sale going on at the Benton Library from 9 to 5 on Friday 6/11 and from 9 to 3 on Saturday
