A letter to Mayor Mitchell and Bryant City Councilmen

I recently sent this by email to the above-mentioned civic leaders. If you live in the Forest Cove subdivision and are frustrated about the lack of action, please attend the City Council Meeting tomorrow night at 6pm! We want them to know how many of us really care about this!!

We moved to Bryant 4 1/2 years ago, drawn by the reputation of the school district and by the lower property costs. We were delighted to obtain our first home on a quiet cul-de-sac within walking… Continue

Thanks for the yummy, yummy watermelon! That has to be the sweetest one I've ever had! We've already eaten a big chunk of it. :)
Maybe Gracie can come play in the afternoon after naptime. We'll probably be at the library and running errands in LR that morning. The boys will look forward to it! Maybe around 3pm?
Hope Diana had a safe trip home, and that things worked out with that situation with their landlord. . . .

I have been off my computer for a few days. With my company here, I did not come into the guest room/computer room often. Gracie and Ian are at home today. Their dad thought Gma and Gpa could stand a rest. Diana got the feeling from the calls she was getting from our son that he really needed her at home in San Antonio to help make decisions on some of the things that were going on down there and to lend her emotional support as well. Phones and computers are great, but they only go so far. They are renting and their landlord told them that he would really like for them to move early before their lease ends. They do not have to, but he is adding incentives and then there are business things that he has decisions on (self employed-two businesses). So at 9:30 last night she couldn't stand it any longer and got everything packed and she and the kids hit the road. Brittney and I were praying for them!! Brittney depends on me so much to talk to and give her advice that I told her that I adopted her as one of my grandkids.
Gracie will be over on Monday. We will go to quilting at 10 til probably one. I know Gracie really enjoyed playing with the boys. She is really going to miss her cousin Karena. She is 10 but they got along good and they were together every day and spent the night almost every night during the week. Brittney was also calling Karena her 1/2 sister! It was a good week. Would you like some watermelon? I have a 42 pound one that I am about to cut today or tomorrow. Thelma
