God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to leave the crime scene evidence free.

Last Friday, my sweet mother celebrated her 75th birthday. I loaded my little furbaby Rusty in the car and went to Oklahoma City to celebrate with her. My hubby wanted to go but he had Grad school to deal with.

Mom wasn't expecting me. It was a surprise my sister dreamed up. I'll never forget the look on mom's face when she saw me! She was so thrilled!!!

Last Monday, I had a mild case of the sniffles. My husband had fixed me lunch, so he knew I was feeling a touch under the weather. When I got home that evening, he had hot chicken broth and a nice, hot cold and flu aromatherapy bath with candles waiting for me. Afterwards, he made me a hot cup of "Sleepytime" tea.

The next morning, my head was all cleared up and I was even more in love with him! {{{sigh}}}

Friday (January 22) was our Pastor's son's 13th birthday party. Mischievious little boys like to have their fun. He had so been wanting to roll a house, but of course, he had been told, "We don't do that."
