I am a pediatric cardiac nurse at Ark. Children's Hospital. I have no idea who the guy was that did CPR or the other two ( a lady and guy) that were involved, perhaps Jennifer. I know the other man worked hard! Is Jennifer related to Chris P…
Shelli-
I am one of the two that did CPR on your dad. I was on the bus next to your dad's and looked over and saw someone doing compressions, so I went to help. I have been trying to find out how he was through MATA, but they have not returned my ca…

Wow- he is healing quickly!
My married name is Henry. I recently married my wonderful husband, Ken, who is from Clarendon. He does have some relative that live up North, but no Art that he is aware.
I hope we can meet sometime. Any news of who the other person was?
Karen, Roger is getting stronger by the day. He is taking back over some of the cooking duties that were his before the flatline event at the Liberty Bowl. He has most of his memory in tact except for about a week or so while he was in the hospital. I can't tell you how much we appreciate you and the others doing the CPR on him. I certainly was NOT ready to be a widow. I just feel the hand of God orchestrated this whole thing. You all must have been exhausted and sore the next day. His brother thought that Roger might have had some broken ribs. His chest was not sore, really. When he breathes deeply now there is just a little slippage click where some of the cartilage might have been dislodged damaged slightly, but it is not painful. You were good!
Now about this degrees of 6 connection: Your last name is Henry. So I just have to ask. You are not related to anyone from Gillespie, Illinois, are you? I dated an Art Henry when I was 16. He was in the Air Force and I lived in San Antonio, TX. I wrote to him for a year and a half after he shipped out until I met my husband (also in the Air Force). By then, Art and I had more or less grown apart. I have been married to Roger for almost 45 years.
My son and I were talking last night again about that night and my son said, yeah, Mom, after you did your thing with shaking Roger, tilting his head and checking his pulse you just started doing your thing....it was like you were barking orders left and right just like you were at work....I said, that was exactly the way I described it to someone...."I was barking orders"
Yes, Hollye was a bit hysterical and bless her heart....I wanted them off the bus but was tending to other things....my son and Whitney...especially after we got to the hospital and later were awesome with Wes and the girls!!!
Yes, I, too, even after we got to the ER didn't really think he would make it...sometimes, we know too much!!!
I don't recognize her name. One of my friends works in IR @ BHMC...Darlena Hodges..We get some of the IR patients ready that our anesthesiologists sleep....I may have seen your friend and recognize her face...
Also, do you recognize Roger and the rest of us from that night on the bus?
Karen, no...I guess you might call me blond from all the highlights BUT, I had on a black wool coat with a black and red Razorback scarf. I was running around doing a million different things hopping on and off the bus checking his status!!! I do remember a woman with shoulder length blond hair and red jacket and maybe holding a stethoscope? was that you? And THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
I don't know a Chris Poole in the family, but I think another cousin of mine, Joni Poole is still working there at ACH. You drive all the way from Clarendon?
I did not have a contract. I do know who the short little guy is that either owns it or supposedly runs it...... Once I find out more from the Better Business Bureau, I'll post it on here! I'm sick of companies trying to take advantage of others and…
Keep writing and telling your story. I am hooked. As a student of history, a person whose family members and friends fought in Viet Nam, I appreciate your telling of the real story.
It is to bad that the Parties that you speak of do not have the same values that they did during that time frame... So many people are do things for there own benefit instead of thinking of what the people think, money has corrupted so many great ca…

Who owns this company?
Did you have a contract?
I would write them out a statement for your time having to deal with this mess .... just slide it under the door. lol.
Yeah, I totally forgot to post stuff all over my website and my Facebook! Darn! I better go... oh wait, no I did do that. Your reminder must have worked retroactively. It's late and I'm done debating. But you guys are awesome for putting the questio…
Maybe we should all get out and just make sure the people know what day this election is. Thats the big issue here as ive not seen one sign FOR the fairplex yet. Is the on purpose like the past special election for the Bryant school mills raise? We…

A tax for a
'fairplex'? There's already way too much of my money being wasted! If we
could get back just 10% of what the State of Arkansas WASTES on BS for
CFO's, CEO's and Directors for Divisions of DHS, we could build a
'fairplex'…
1) The city of Benton paid more than $1 Million for the Fairplex study and before they even had the study was buying up property in front of the proposed site. This started as a Benton City Project but once the Study was complete it became a "County…
To those who say it'll cost too much to attend events there - lets not overlook the community facilities - like the walking trails, dog park, & community centers that will cater events by and for the people of Benton. This is not a ticketmaster sort…
I would absolutely love to see Saline County get this Fairplex and it just be chock full of fun and exciting events!!! I have every intention (at this time) of voting FOR it.
That being said, I have to reply to what I perceive as normal curiosity a…
I'm just about to give up on this thread, so I think I'll give my last word and be done. Some people are well off in this town, Some are comfortable and some are down right struggling and couldn't afford to go to an event at the Fairplex if it was a…
I do not live in Benton. I live in Saline County.
It appears that many people are trying to beat up the City of Benton for their attempts at trying to make Saline County better for everyone. Benton has been a good host for our county seat. Over the…
