"Shirley.. Im not sueing him, so im not sure what you are talking about there. All i did was give you the link to do your research on what a right to work state means. It is different than "at will". He has the right to hire his own staff…"
Many people in arkansas get the "at will" employment issue confused. Arkansas is a right to work state but that does not have anything to do with this situation ... i suggest you may go here to find out more about right to work…"
It is kind of amazing when you begin to realize the reach of the site. For every person who is a member, there are probably three others lurking. And yes, thanks to Mr. Milligan, there's definitely more to talk about here!
I do believe that Bryant has a lot of insufficiencies in the hardware side of the water and sewer department as well as Central Ark Water rate hikes. The Bryant rate hikes have been to keep pace with the needs for building a new tower and repairing pumps, etc. Bryant has doubled its population in the last 15 years. The old infrastructure just would not work for the current populace. So, the city has turned to Arkansas Natural Resources for funding (at least partially). In order to obtain funding, the rates have to be enough to pay back the notes. Is that not what I got from the council meeting, Adrian?
Yes your right thats what it say's, hawever they are the ones that proposed the FAIRPLEX idea, and the way to fund this was with a suggested tax, which we voted down, I will admit I did make an error when I said hamburger tax ends in Dec 31 this year, it actually end Dec 31, 2011, so were stuck with it again unless I'm elected, because I will propose the committee be desolved
