Saline History

As the title of this page would imply, I'd like to start an archive of Saline County history. I'm asking you to participate. Whatever online records you can find or create with stories, photos, video, diagrams, maps, etc., please submit them either as a Blog post or Forum discussion, or if you would like something to be part of a collection, email it. After you post something, let me know in an email or profile comment or private message that you'd like to have your content be included in the Saline History pages, and I'll add a link to it on this page.

There will eventually be sections with links to subsections. As an example, and for inspiration, I've included a lovely trailer video for the movie "White Lightning," starring Burt Reynolds, and featuring parts of Benton and Saline County. This video would be included in the Film subsection of the Entertainment section. Enjoy!
