The Bryant Animal Shelter is looking for volunteers to be Canine and Cat Companions. Hours are Monday - Saturday and are between 12:30pm - 4:30pm. Please email me at tpower@cityofbryant.com and I will give you more details.

Cat Companions help us socialize and de-stress cats and kittens that are at the shelter...Cat can become depressed while staying at the shelter which makes them more likely to become ill while they are here, socialization helps to relax them and they are much happier - and much more likely to be adopted!

Dog Companions walk our k-9 friends, spend time with them and help with basic training. We offer a FREE DVD to new volunteers that teaches how to train basic commands.

Canine Companion Volunteers work in two shifts each day from 12:30pm - 2:30pm and 2:30pm - 4:30pm Monday - Saturday.

Each position requires a short orientation and training session that lasts about 15 - 30 minutes which is conducted during your first day volunteering.

If you are interested in ANY of these opportunities, just email me at tpower@cityofbryant.com and we'll get you started!
