BRYANT FIRE FIGHTERS ENDORSE JILL DABBS FOR MAYOR
October 6, 2010, Bryant AR:
Republican Jill Dabbs, candidate for Mayor of Bryant, has just received the endorsement of the Bryant Professional Fire Fighters, Local 4606 of the International Association of Fire Fighters in her election bid against incumbent Mayor Larry Mitchell.
This announcement was made officially Wednesday morning, Oct 6, by BPFF/IAFF
Local 4606 President Daniel Weger, who stated that members of the union had voted
Tuesday evening, Oct. 5, to endorse the candidacy of Jill Dabbs.
“I am grateful beyond expression,” Dabbs said happily, “and I will do everything I can possibly do to merit their confidence in me. Like everyone in Bryant, I am extremely proud of our Fire Department and the brave men and women who protect us every night and day. If the voters give me the privilege of serving as their Mayor, I will work with our fire fighters and their union to insure that the needs of these men and their families are met as they put their lives on the line for us. My door will always be open to the BPFF/IAFF and their leadership."
