Second Chances
I know it's been a long time since I added anything on here, but I have a pretty good story to tell. Most of you know we lost our beloved son, Harry two years ago this month. and last Sunday he would of been 20yrs old. we figured that was it for us as parents with us being in our mid fourties, but it seems God, and Harry are giving us a second chance. Jeri went to the doctor today and is six weeks pregnant, and the due date is 8-25-10 OMG!!!!!! I will be one of those daddys at Wal-Mart that the women come up and say what a pretty GRANDBABY you have there. TYVM, Daddy Tazz

Congratulations on the upcoming baby. You will enjoy this child as if it were a grandchild. And take it from a grandmother who knows, grandchild raising is so much cooler than child rearing. I don't know what it is about age that makes little ones seem to be so much more of a miracle. I just appreciate each and everything that my grands do with such fervor. And I was never really that enthusiastic about children. It will be hard at first, I am sure, because you are older. Hang in there beyond the first month or two with as much patience and endurance as you can muster. The miracle of that child will emerge in your life and you will be blessed by God's Little Miracle over and over. Be sure to tell us when you know if it is a girl or boy, etc.!!!
PS: Never pray for patience. You only learn to be patient through trials of your patience.
