You just witnessed Shelli's mysaline.com getting facetime on Little Rock news, and then want to shut the site down to the majority of people by forcing them to pay?
as much as i agree that it isn't "fair" that Shelli is taking up the burden of the cost for running a website used by others to push their agendas (whether political, public, business, etc), it also isn't "website savvy" to go that route. currently the website reaches anyone who wants to look and have a say. shutting it down to a few "insiders" would be rather dumb considering the website's purpose.

Shelli's got a good business model. People can also arrange for Shelli to get paid by clicking on the Google ads. They are usually in the right hand margin. For me, it was a good way to learn about some local businesses and services that were advertising at the time. Now it looks like a politician is advertising. It doesn't hurt to learn about our Pol's, whether or not you agree with them.
