Contact your Seantors and tell them NO to cap and trade and carbon tax.
The legislation has already been passed in the U.S. House of Representatives. The only way that it can be stopped is if the Senate votes NO. It's time to write Senators Lincoln and Pryor and tell them to vote NO to cap and trade and carbon tax.

You can make a difference! Send a letter to your elected officials and tell them what affordable energy means for you.
The high fuel prices of the past do not have to be our future.
Currently, the federal government in Washington is considering ways to address global warming. Global warming is an incredibly complex and challenging issue that directly impacts our energy future, our economy, and our lives in far reaching ways. However, if not done correctly, legislation currently being considered, could increase energy costs, increase our dependence on imported energy, cost American jobs and wreak havoc on the American economy at the worst possible time – when we are fighting to climb out of a severe economic recession.
Unfortunately, we may be headed in that direction.
While politicians and experts may argue about the impact of the Waxman-Markey bill (H.R. 2454), we do know one thing that will happen if it becomes law. Your energy costs will significantly increase. This means less money in the household budget and increased prices for goods and services we all need to support ourselves and our families.
Your job and your way of life are too important and shouldn’t be based on political assumptions in Washington. You can make a difference!
