Call me an idiot if you want to, but
can someone tell me about this friend thing?I got a friend requesnt and acceptd it, but still not 100 percent how this site works, so any help is appreciated.

I am not exactly sure how the friend thing works either. Generally, it is a good thing to have friends, and I am delighted to have online friends. I don't think that it is the same as offline friends. For instance, I don't think that its reasonable to expect your online friends to drop what they are doing and come over to your house and help you if your plumbing springs a leak, although I have observed many willing and good hearted people on mysaline who would probably do that.
It is convenient to be able to send private emails to communicate with your online friends if there is some information that you do not wish to share with everyone on mysaline. You can also post things on someone's page, but then everyone on mysaline can see it, so the ability to send private emails is pretty nice.

When you're "friends" with someone, you can send them private messages. Also you can "share" blogs, discussions, photos and videos with them by using the SHARE button below an entry.
