Elswick show has to be at their studio due to some technical difficulties, but I'll be at Denton's at 7pm. Anyone who wants to run by and donate before then may do so by putting money in the can at the front of Denton's Trotline restaurant. Thanks very much to Tommy and Robert Denton for their help. Y'all eat some fish while you're there. The restaurant opens at 4pm. I'll be on the radio with Dave Elswick still in the 3pm hour. 102.9fm or 920am.

Q: Why is another fundraiser needed? 

A: Because many people were deterred from the first one by sudden cold, rainy weather. Also, it was a weeknight.

Q: What was this about again? I forgot.

A: [Short Version] Three Bryant City Councilman are suing anonymous members of MySaline for defamation, and subpoenaed MySaline itself for private data (revealing the browsing habits and ip addresses of every visitor to the site, in hopes that they might find the identity of those they say defamed them). The First Amendment protects political speech and this is clearly a SLAPP lawsuit. Regardless, MySaline.com needed to secure legal counsel to fight this suit that  - at the very least - should be thrown out, but never should have come about in the first place.
