Event Description

Auditions for Singin’ in the Rain are Monday and Tuesday, May 14, 15 at 7pm. Rehearsals start May 21. Play opens July 12. Those auditioning should have a song prepared. Two male leads and one female lead must tap dance. Bring your tap shoes if you can dance. Director is Bob May; Greg Taylor is music director. When asked about children’s parts, Bob had this to say: “There are two boys in the beginning of the show who play Cosmo and Don as children and they MUST tap dance. They are 8 – 10 years old. I could cast young girls in those parts, too. Or just go with teen boys. And teens can play young adults in the ensemble.” This production is sponsored by W.W. and Anne Jones Charitable Trust.
